Curious to know how some of the fellow LPSG members are doing as of late?
I HATE THE RAIN!!!!
Man, it sucks!
I have not seen storms like these in quite some times. There was lightening, thunder and heavy winds yesterday that blew in sheets of rain down upon us.
The courtyard in my complex was flooded, no sidewalks just water everywhere.
Every year after heavy rains like these, the wildflowers show up everywhere. I will have my camera in hand to capture them.
There is a large pine tree down across the neighborhood's private road. I was coming home and put the Jeep in low-range 4X4 and drove up the embankment and around it. The power is still on. It's VERY WINDY (65 mph gusts, supposedly). All is well.
SoCal ....... yesterday heavy rains and strong winds, heck, we even had tornado warnings for the coastal areas. More for tonight into Thursday, now we need the rain just not all at once if you please. Sadly we had some storm deaths here
So far, so good. We need the rain, but dang, it could come a little less ferocious, lol.
Getting pounded here :frown1:
Well, I pray everyone is safe there. My heart goes out to those in So Cal.
Damn. Hope the Classic Cars are ok!
Oh.. and the people too.. (Just kidding guys & gals - stay safe!)
What's his name?
It seems like every time I'm stuck in gridlock on the 405 during a downpour this song seems to come on the radio. I hope everyone is warm and safe and dry.
Well, I hope everyone is okay. That's all that matters the most.
well, more rain and wind, some power down in places and "Wild Surf" .... I'm so tired of it, I want to get outside and feel the sun
heck! I'm not "Melting" I'm rusting
Over the course of lunch on Tuesday in San Francisco -- at a very cool organic gourmet hole in the wall called Triptych, delicious food -- the weather went from blue skies, sunny and mild to cold, thunder, lightning and rain. Of course, I happened to press my luck that day and was out in shorts and sandals when the apocalypse rolled in. The weather was going back and forth like that all day. Yesterday wasn't much better. I've seen far worse storms, but never such rapid changes between weather systems; 4 or 5 a day.
Ya'lls California rain has made it all the way to North Carolina...making my coffee break today very very wet. Thanks for sharing.
:biggrin1: You're welcome, in fact we're sending you even "More", enjoy
You have it all wrong  If that was the case it would have read as such....
Getting pounded here :biggrin1::biggrin1:
The wind is howling outside. The strongest I've ever seen it here.
I have to flow to Sacramento tomorrow for a memorial service. I hope the weather lets up before then.
