Sorry, no pics; but I think boxers are at least long enough to cover past the lower part of your butt, and have a flat horizontal hem. Plus, they're loose around the leg and genitalia, have that "boxer" gathered elastic waistband, and generally a centered vertical fly.

Any shorter, and they're trunks or maybe briefs, which are generally tighter and more revealing of your cock, balls and butt, and which have a more complicated, side-entered fly, and a more plain, non-gathered elastic waistband.

Like porno, I may not be able to describe it, but I know boxers when I see them!

Jockey makes a Midway Boxer Brief that extends to at least mid-thigh. Most boxer briefs are going to run with a 2-3" inseam. I have the regular and midways from Jockey and prefer the longer inseam (8-9") by far.
