About a year. We use the Euro over here in Europe so the $20 will be in my wallet until I fly to the US.

Depends which country you spend it in. Indonesia (2 nights ago) it will get you quite a few things,,, happy ending if you don't get too wasted before midnight as well. Even a tiger beer or 2...

If I'm lucky, a day, but it's spectacularly easy to spend money. I went grocery shopping last week and three plastic bags of groceries ran me $70 and that's without any meats, fish, or poultry. It's frightening (and actually cheaper to eat two meals a day from the Chinese restaurant!).

In better news, I just filled my tank for $31.42 and that's premium! so it could be worse.

I had my beard trimmed this morning at a neighborhood barber shop,
not a salon....and it took $5 more than the $20 to pay for it.
(including tip, of course)
In NYC, or most any other place, I would imagine, it doesn't go very

I was just having this conversation recently. $20 basically lasts about .256 seconds from the time it comes out of the ATM with me.

It will usuall be broken down into smaller denominations in no time.

$5 to park @ work

$3 for 2 apple juices, and a banana

$10 for lunch @ trendy Downtown LA restaurant

$4 for WWD newspaper...oh wait. I'm already done.

I can't even use a full twenty without going over anymore. DAMN IT ALL.
