If I remember my high school geometry correctly, a thickness (width) of six inches would be a girth (circumference) of 18.8 inches, something which might test even Madonna or the late Elizabeth Taylor.

What did I get wrong? Except for perhaps being a trifle too pedantic. People often confuse thickness with girth.
