I can honestly say, I've popped a semi. For those of us who were never exposed to being naked around others, it's easy to make the mental jump that nudity implies sex. Plus, 99.9% of the naked guys seen were in porn, so it's a mental thing. It takes a little deconditioning.

I wonder if this attitude has developed as younger males have grown up without the normal, natural experience of being naked in school locker rooms with their peers, while at the same time they've been bombarded with pornography on the internet. While I've seen guys sprouting a semi every once in a while, I've never seen anybody jerking off, or anything beyond that. I don't want to either. I shower at the gym to clean the sweat off of my body before putting my clothes back on. And I'll be honest, I'd be more than a little grossed out if I was walking in the locker room or shower and I stepped in a puddle of splooge. I have no problem with consenting adults doing whatever they want with each other, but there's a time and place for it--while I'm trying to get cleaned up and dressed isn't one of them. There's a phrase "get a room" that comes to mind here. Then again, I go to the gym to work out, not play pick-up.

The poster in question has the overwhelming majority of his posts in open shower and locker room threads.
He also rails against normal nudity in general and in other topics. Despite occasionally expressing amazement that people are interested in discussing these subjects, he can't seem to stay away or keep himself from posting. He says he reads these threads out of "boredom", but surely there are many other topics that could entertain him. I'm not sure if he's on a crusade or he's just obsessed with the subject, but whatever the underlying reason, methinks the gentleman doth protest . . . . :wink:

I comment on a lot of things, from politics to personal stories to the ridiculousness of these posts. I include myself in that and am not afraid to laugh at the whole silliness of some of the things that are said, let alone that guys actually think they need a support group because they imagine they have a larger than normal penis.

I get all that. I like the argument and the debate and I try to do it without denigrating others except the freaks (you know who you are).....

Maybe you do, maybe you don't, or maybe you feel you need to hide something, or maybe there are other aspects of public male nudity that fascinate you at the same time they make you uncomfortable. I don't know; that's for you to sort out. Once again, simply being naked in a locker room does not constitute "prancing", and being naked does not = "lewd".

To my understanding, the "Large Penis Support" aspect of the name was originally intended to be satirical.

I wouldn't count on that; more often than not the "freaks" think they're completely normal. We all practice self-justification to varying degrees. Some people think 'towel dancing' is freaky, some people think walking naked through the locker room is freaky. What is "freaky" is largely a matter of personal perspective, isn't it? :wink:

i've done it. the showers at my gym are individuals. theres a hall with showers on each side and the curtains have a clear strip at eye level so you can see across to the other row. guys leave the curtain open a bit sometimes. twice now ive made eye contact with someone across from me and they will pull the curtain back a little so i can see them. we can watch each other jerk off but no one else can see what's going on. i've never seen anyone doing it out in the open though.
