How many interracial encounters have you had?

Me too.... half anyway. Therefore almost every encounter I've had is interracial. I've only had 2 encounters with men of my own race.....

Unfortunately for me the addition of the poll put a bad taste in my mouth to begin with. While you're right, its inclusion doesn't necessarily mean the poll or person posting it is narrow minded it reads that way. It reads to me as though only relations between white, black and asian women are interracial, or equally bad that they're the only relations of interest.

I'm multi-racial and I find the psychology of race relations, especially in the realm of sex, very interesting.

I'm also of the opinion that this isn't a women's issue, it could have been had it been worded differently or asked a more specific question about sexual attraction but as it is. -eh I dunno, feels like wasted potential.

I'm male, a black-mutt, and I've mostly been with "white" women and women of native american descent.

I'm not really sure race matters all that much to me. That being said, I've only dated outside of my race once but then again, I've not dated much/slept with many people. He was half-white and half-hispanic/native american...we dated for over 5 years. I honestly never thought about his race at all.

Ok, I was going to pile on with the criticisms of this poll. Race is much more fluid and varied than what is represented here. I also think that asking hetero women to answer is likely to be masturbation fodder when asking everyone might be far more interesting. With that said, the high number of people voting for "I'm a white woman, I've had 0 to 5 with a black man" is interesting (and potentially relevant) if it is truthful and not people playing out there fantasies. Though I'd wager on the latter before the former.
