Ineligible: The reason that a long-lasting boner can cause damage to your penis is that during erection there is no blood circulating through the penis - the vein out is pinched off, to keep the pressure up. There's a lot of blood pooled in there, of course, so the cells have a lot to go on; but usually after about four hours the oxygen carried by that blood is used up, and the cells start getting starved of oxygen. You know that you've got to this stage because it hurts. This is why priapism - an erection that won't go down - is dangerous.

It doesn't seem that that happened to you. Now it may be that you had some brief relaxations of the hardness that allowed a change of blood; but I wonder if for large penises, which can hold a lot more blood, the time before the cells get starved of oxygen is a lot greater?
