15 for me which seems to be median(claimed) for the LPSG population.
I've heard that the LIFETIME average for all North American males is 6 women slept with. This average is probably creeping upwards.
Another thing I've heard pointed out and I think it is important is that there ARE statistically signifigant numbers of hetro men that have slept with tens, hundreds and occassionally even a thousand+ women. For the average to be 6 you can imagine that there are an awful lot of men who have slept with 2,1 or 0 women to make the numbers work out.
That is this distribution of sexual partners is probably not normal around the average. I'm not talking about this in terms of morality or gender politics or lifestyle preferences. I'm just observing that human coupling dynamics statistically resembles lots of other animals species. A few successful males have access to lots of partners, another population does OK, and there is a large pool of males that doesn't get any/much.
