How many STDs have you had in your lifetime

I would imagine that there are many of us here who have experienced what Kyle did but are too scared to talk about it.
There are guys out there that you know, and girls too, naturally...
who have been forced to do things against their will.

Mine happened to me when i was 13.
I"m not going to jump in here with my story, i may never tell it...but...
my heart goes out to anyone who was forced or tricked or anything like that.

There is a lot of self blame, and even loathing that goes on afterward,
sometimes for years and years.
Even though people tell you it wasnt your fault.

So, here is a big hug to all those who might have gone through it.
We all deserve better.

HPV is non-curable, RoysToy. Best you can hope for is a life of being asymptomatic.

Probably not.

Lets be honest.

If you have unprotected sex with a large number of partners you will have multiple STD's. Some of the older people on this forum who lived through the 60's and 70's probably exceed that number. We screwed like crazy in every conceivable locale with as many partners as we could and no body used protection. No body. I had 5 STD's: genital warts once. the clap three times, and a syphillis scare. The syph show up on a employment physical and I never had any symptoms. The transmission probably occured just before the blood test. Got booted by my employer and grilled by the health department. No ADA in those days.

I hope the large number of "zeros" reflect the use of condoms now days and is not skewed by the relative youth and lack of experieces of this group or some socio/economic fluke. STD's in my youth were a joke but today we know better.

I was a complete slut. Big surprise there. In the years before HIV none of us even considered using a condom. As someone who had a LOT of anonymous "gay" sex, and a LOT of partners, all during my 20's and 30's, I should be dead. I'm 51 now, HIV- and never even got the clap. I am one of the lucky ones when compared to friends and people I know have died never having had more than 3 or 4 partners. I don't question it, I just thank the higher power every day.

Yes, and all of them. Any tiny cuts in your mouth (from brushing your teeth, eating, etc.) are an open door. Once the semen gets to the stomach, digestive acids will kill any nasties... unfortunately it makes a few stops on its way to the stomach. :unsure:

That is great to see - monogomous gay relationships...I mean to say I know they work - but my old roommate - who is gay - we have had some serious conversation about that because he has had committment ceremonies a couple of time w/a couple of guys and lives and moves in w/guys (who he may have a long time relationship with)...Maybe it is just him but I was straight and I personally thought he would fall in love w/the next guy he thought was hot and ruin his relationships...He actually thought it was impossible for a gay guy to be in serious long time relationship because of outside influences (other guys)...
