That's what I paid on Saturday, when I put $25 in my dad's 2005 Mercury Grand Marquis. It's a boat with a V-8 engine and gets about 28 mpg highway. Actually - I thought you were going to come in and top trump me - but looking at today's UK prices I see your basic supermarket filling station will set you back the equivalent of about $8.04 per gallon.
