I spend about £40 which is approx $80 a week for two of us, this is an average however and sometimes its more (when I have to buy cleaning/laundry stuff) and sometimes its a little less.

I don't cook much, so that is why I don't spend that much at the Supermarket.

$100 or less for all grocery items, not just food, every 2 weeks.
Add $30ish per week for fresh fruit and veggies from the farmer's market or fruit stand. I do not buy meat.

I spend about $40-$65 per week on groceries. That includes wine occasionally or hard apple cider. This does not include cat food or supplies. Pancho's bill is about $35-$40 per month.

Shopping for groceries these days is highway robbery. I remember being able to spend only $30 per week just about ten years ago. Prices are at least double since then...

What are you guys eating? I spend between $175 to $200 a week (not counting dog food)

Agreed...Over USD 200.00 a week.

It's the organic arugula at Whole Foods, stupid!

I admit to spending between $200.00 and $300.00 per week at the supermarket.
That does not include what I spend at my butchers, seafood market, wine merchants or providores.

phew!!! Thank you, DF. I was getting worried that I was the only one who spent a fair bit.

I dare not even add up what I spend.... and the cash back to "feed" the kids' hungry hands is even higher!

I require an almost no sodium diet. Plus I like organic food and things without preservatives. When I lived alone, in Jersey I would spend about $140-$170 a month on groceries. Which works out to $35-$42.50 a week on groceries.

Now that I am in a house with 3 adults and special dietary requirements. We have one diabetic, two with high blood pressure and me. I guess we spend about $200-$300 on groceries a month.

I usually spend about €45 per week on groceries for myself. That's about $70. And that's way more than one year ago. Too bad I'm not close enough to Holland to shop there. The 20km drive isn't worth it with gas being €1.60/l or $9.5/gallon.
