    Hey Guys -

Just checking in to see how much you pay for a decent haircut? I am paying sixty bucks. I am happy with how it looks so I don't mind paying that. Does anyone here get an awesome haircut for less than that? In Boston I payed double that on Newbury Street but the way my hair is cut now I like better. I would appreciate your thoughts.

daaaummm! I can go to a barbershop here in town, get a haircut, sideburns and neck shaved with a single blade razor and foam, and get it styled for $10.

The only time I have paid much more than $20 for a hair cut is when I have gotten highlights or something along those lines put in.

Not trying to put you down or anything....I've just never been in a financial postion where I could even think about spending that much money on a haircut

Blow out? What? I have had girlfriends that do that. I don't know what that means, but they love the gay men that do that to them.

Well I don't know what kind of hair your girlfriends hair have but in my case it's someone taking jewish kinky curly hair with a hot blow dryer and making it look smooth and bouncy.

When I used to get my hair cut, it was only like $12 for a shampoo and cut... of course that was as of 1997, that was when I started cutting it myself. Now I just use clippers for a nice, smooth 1 mm length all around!! :biggrin1:

South Texas, $8 posted price, give her a $2 tip, a $10 bill lets me tell her exactly how I want it cut and she does it.

Wow. You guys are very economical re. haircuts. Well done.
Nudeyorker - I guess your comment about what a blow out is
is correct. After blow out, girls have straight, smooth hair. Huh.

Well I live in Columbus, Ohio but am currently working in Nashville, Tn. When I get the color that I want along with the shampoo, cut, blow out, and style its about $75 if I add in the Baliage (sp?) treatment, and dry cut that I get about every three months it's about $150.00 with a tip. But my hair looks AMAZING!!! Not to mention I LOVE the girl that does my hair, she is so fucking awesome!!

I buzz my hair myself. When I divide the $20 price of electric clippers by the number of times I've cut my hair since I purchased the clippers, I'm probably paying something like $0.002 per haircut.

When my cutter informed me that she was going to ask 24.00 for a cut I decided to get a cut at the mall for $11.00. I get a different cutter each time I go and It's an adventure for sure but sometimes the cut is great and sometime is weird; but it always grows back and sometimes looks unique. I'm happy with an $11.00 cut with a $4.00 tip.

60 bucks? WTF?! That barber better be givin' you some sucky sucky with that haircut. Including the tip and extra for a shave, I've never paid more than 20-25 bucks.
