Summer $80-$110 depending on usage of AC
Winter $120-$150/month depending on how cold it gets.
Forced air heat, natural gas fired heating my small-ish 1300 sq ft house.
We have Consumers Energy up here, and they have Payment plans.
They basically average your previous years expenses, and then apply it to a set amount. This has helped me quite a bit. It's a set fixed cost, that I can budget for year round.

Average electric/month = $50. It fluctuates throughout the year. Low so far $25; high $90.
Gas is on a set monthly cost, so even though it fluctuates monthly as well, I pay $60/month.

i actually do the same with my 3 main outgoings Telecom, SKy TV & the Power
pay a set amount weekly, and by the end of the month am usually in credit by a few $, stress reliever ha

I live in a small, self-built house in a village in northern Laos. I have no heat and no air-con (neither are necessary), light exclusively with compact fluorescents, and have 2 computers. All my cooking is electric, using an electric wok and an induction plate. I have a 4.4KW instant water heater in my shower.
My electric usage is 200 to 300 KWH per month, and bill is typically $15 to $20. My highest bill ever was $25.
I'm considering installing a solar water heater, which should reduce it by $5 a month or so.
