How much sleep do you need / get each night ?
Not very much, an average of four hours, I view this as a plus it means I have more time to fritter away.
I need 8-9 and that's exactly what I get. I'm lucky to not have to get up to a job every day.

Between five and six. I'm kept awake most nights...*twilight zone*
I like to get 8, can muddle by on 6...less than that and I'm a mess!
I'd love to sleep a full 8 hours but just doesn't work. 4-5 is the best I can do. Long-term, I think it's making me insane :hypnotized:

I have a couple of odd sleep disorders: severe obstructive sleep apnea and narcolepsy. So while it seems I would get plenty of sleep I rarely get a quality or good nights sleep. :redface: Eight hours is what I need but I have been getting by on 4-6 the last few months.
Wow... looks like we need a new thread entitled 'do insomniacs have bigger dicks?' - I mean, forget nose, hands and feet, it's the only logical correlation here.
About 8 hours is nice. Sometimes I only get 4 or less ~ depends whats going on.
Less than 5 and I'm bleary - more than 5 doesn't happen too often.
6 to Ten hours and has to be uninterrupted.
Sometimes less though...
True, when somebody worth staying up with is around, and they don't get me paralytically stoned.

on average 4, on the weekends I get around 12.(yea, i know, 12 is a bit excessive but, if it were up to me, i could sleep all day.) It all evens out.
6 peaceful hours before the blood drys on the sword at which time I am awake and back to work
I need at least 6 to function somewhat coherently, I usually get around 7-8 when working/studying. When I have no routine I generally sleep when I need to and for however long I need to. This can range between 4 to 11 hours in one night, though I'm a big fan of siestas.
(I actually wrote this after waking up from a 3 hour evening nap.)
