I really don't care much about the bush issue -- women shave their legs & armpits, so I don't get why so many take issue with pubic hair being shaved or trimmed. If you like a full bush, fine. I just don't agree that pictures of shaved pussy are an attack by society on women. It's no different than women plucking their eyebrows or wearing lipstick -- the fashions come and go like miniskirts -- and it's most often women's sense of style driving it, not men.
One thing that annoys me is hearing people complain that "society" or "men" victimize women by how they are depicted on magazine covers and fashion shows. But when you stop to think about it, those magazine covers and fashion shows are the product of women and homosexual men, not heterosexual men -- they don't go into those industries. Hetero guys love hourglass figures, smooth skin, bright eyes, and other signs of youth and health.
I had to stop and check there that I was really in the women's issues section
I agree. As long as it's more a discussion of societal trends regarding what's considered an attractive nude woman, rather than sizing individual women up and appraising their attractiveness, then I suppose it's relevant.
I am turned off by Playboy's shift away from "the girl next door" (who were quite hot!) and to girls that all look like they're "fully upgraded" strippers -- ultra-bleached hair, toned bodies, fake boobs, and makeup that's trying a bit too hard to be trashy. I find women that look like they have a bright future ahead of them to be sexy.
I think MetArt is a much better representation of what the average guy finds attractive.
