I'm 5'10". I think I'm slightly taller than the average male, but I recognize that most guys tend to be taller than me. And you're right -- doesn't have a damn thing to do with my endowment. (Of course, I think there's this popular myth surrounding guys who tend to be skinnier and have large dicks.)

hung_big: I'm a shade short of 6'1". I will be 6'4" fully grown (apparently). I would consider myself fairly tall, but not gargantuane.

Workin' up a good pot of mad!
    Hi,

I've grown up in a family of "tall trees". Though my actual brother is 6'0" , Many of my cousins are with in the 6'4" to 6'7" range. I have no idea about other physical endowments, but I think I grew up feeling like I was much taller than my 5'4" inches as a result of being around them. I am still shocked when I see myself in a reflection next to one of them! LOL! SO to answer the question... I guess my view is skewed by where I am on the continuum. I have heard that 5'4" is supposed to be the mean for women but I think that is on the short side. A tall woman to me starts at about 5'9" and up and a tall man starts at about 6'1" . Sorry baby bro I guess we dont reach up to the bar! LOL!

NelsonMuntz84: For man I think 5'10 + is tall, over 6'5' and your entering the land of the giants.

For women I think 5'5' + is tall, over 5'10' and your entering land of the giants.

I'm 6 feet tall, and the tallest in my family by an inch or two.

Well, my dad's full-blood, so everyone on his side of the family's tall; even the women are rarely under 6'. (But any differences are like quantum, so you change it by measuring it.) My brothers and sisters and I apparently inherited that.

I'm 6'2 but being fairly heavily-built it seems I don't look particularly tall from a distance. nearly everyone who's seen photos of me before meeting me in person has remarked that I'm taller than they expected. yeah, people are fucking weird.

I'm 6'3" but I seem to tower over others - they're always remarking that I must be at least 6'6". I'm quite heavy, too, but few believe that I actually weigh that much.

It must be the way I carry myself or something - if I'm not careful I tend to intimidate, which is not my intention at all.

I think for men 6'0" is the start of the tall range and women it starts at 5'10".

As for me, I'm 6'5". I know I'm tall, and I really enjoy being tall. You should see me zip through a crowd of people. I can see the the open spots to weave around to and I'm not stuck in everyone's armpit. I feel for the short ones.
But then again, I always walk into spiderwebs that everyone in front of me went right under and using a "standard" height shower is a joke! LOL

I'm 6"5", I only wish all my parts had grown to "proportion." There are a few problems:

Hard to find pants with a 37" inseam...if you do they're overpriced and/or ugly
    All levi's are too short
    Urinals are all too low
Hard to find shirts with a 37" sleeve...see pants above
Hard to dance dirty...groins don't always "line up" properly
Off the rack S/m and Leather gear is all too short
Big and Tall is a misnomer...it's usually just "big"
    Counters are too low
    Cars are too short
You always know when the top of your refrigerator is dusty

And my 7.5 incher looks a lot smaller on me than a guy "normal" height

    But that's just me.

    6' 11-1/2", 252lbs.

People always assume I'm a basketball player, which gets annoying real fast.

Are you really 6'11?! Anyway, I'm 6', but my doc said I was only supposed to be 5'10. I think I read that the average white male is 5'9, so...I guess I'm tall, but like, on the short end of tall.

I don't have a certain height in mind that qualifies someone to be considered tall to my way of thinking; it's visual without considering the actual numbers. Whatever 'tall' means to me, I'm not.

Plains tribes tend to be taller. So do eastern tribes. But it changes as you go north or southwest.
