How thick can a penis be before the woman's pleasure turns into pain?

For me, the most pleasurable penis circumference is about...

looking at the survey results it turns out that there's a very wide range of opinion. That , in my book, means there's not an ultimate answer to this question and to each his own

I ask because I don't have a lot of experience, and I'm always wary about whether my girth will enhance the girl's pleasure, or just hurt her.

I'm not long (6 1/4"), but I am fairly thick (thinnest point: 5 13/16"; thickest point: 6 7/16"). Should I be concerned about hurting a girl?

So, ladies, how thick can a penis be before sex becomes painful rather than pleasurable?

Each woman will have her own answer, there is no 1 answer. Some will crave the thickness, some will wince in pain or even have injuries. When you meet a person and it's time for sex, go slow and easy and always remember to have some lube ready. If you're too big you'll know soon enough.

The assumption here appears to be that all women have the same size vagina? Well that's just silly. Everyone comes in different sizes for all the other body parts: fingers, forearms, noses, ears, necks, thighs, torsos, feet, butts, thumbs, heads... Why would the vagina be the only body part that is the same in every woman? And even then, different women's preferences come into play. Some women enjoy the burning-itching sensation of being stretched to the extreme. Other women dislike it. There is no single answer that would apply to every woman.

I never had any problems with girth and I have had sex with lots of guys that are really thick (and I should know considering my sample size :) ). Also, I have been fisted and I have had some really big dildos in me and had no problems so I doubt really that there is a man with a dick out there that is so thick the average woman would have a problem with it. I think length is more of an issue since if it is too long it bangs against the cervix and this can hurt.

Why do you think that you must be experienced with lots of different penises in order to make a generalization about them, but you simply assume that your vagina is average? My experience is different from yours. We tried fisting over and over again and it didn't work, so just because you can fist it doesn't mean that I can. I brought up our genital mismatch issues to my gynecologist when I was looking for solutions and she told me that it's a common problem that many women talk to her about, so consider yourself one of the lucky ones, but don't assume that everyone else is just like you.

Also, the cervix isn't at the end of the vagina. Bottoming out does hurt, but not because the penis hits the cervix.

I am 7+ in girth and I ve had girls who did dont like this at all...
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Those women are mad....all they have to do is lub up: any good lubrication will open up a woman's vagina. The man must enter patiently, cautiously, and lovingly.

Even the smallest woman can accommodate great girth: now, it may take a few tries (3 or more attempts)...but eventually, it will fit.

Finally, ladies and gentlemen, the operative word is, eventually.

absolute bullshit.
lube eliminates friction... lube does not open a vagina.

I don't doubt the poll results, but find it interesting that it starts at the 90th percentile.

My wife likes a 7" thick dildo occasionally, but that is about the limit.

How would you know?

You absolutely have no idea what you're talking about.

Also, I wish that you would stop saying that your vagina is as small as a quarter because you can stick one up there and it doesn't fall out. Personally, I don't think that indicates a small vagina, and it's just a weird thing to say. I own stone balls for Kegel exercises that come in a variety of sizes and the smallest one is the size of a penny. If I stick that in there, it doesn't fall out. The vagina isn't like an open sleeve like your nostril. It's more like your anus (but not exactly). It forms to fit the size of whatever is in there in a similar way.

For some reason I feel like I have to explain that you.

This thread/topic is complete bullshit anyway so Ima go offtopic; What 'lights your fire' pretending you're a female?

I mean there's loads of gay men here so why do you want attention from straight men?
(maybe you dont, I dont see no other reason tho)

This is so fucking common on the net, if you're not brainless it's very easy to spot. So why bother?

"How thick can a penis be before the woman's pleasure turns into pain?".
Because no two women are th same, there can be no general answer to this question. I happen to like both girth and length.

Not to say. Since women are supposed to give birth the majority can handle a lot more than a thick penis....

But back to that poll, it very much depends on the woman. Some can take 7" some can't and need either more foreplay or multiple attempts of full penetration. In the end all women I have been with were able to take my whole penis. Being over 7" is not always an advantage but women can get used to it. However, me and my GF have been together for 6.5 years now and still when we haven't fucked for a while I have to be careful and stretch her up again. But the thickness is totally to her pleasure....

A crock of bullshit. I tear with 7 inch girth since i was 18 and now im almost 32. We have used fingers, small dildos..water based lube..silicone based lube..jlube made of polymer..naturally aloe derived lube..thick lube..thin lube...fisting techniques and lots and lots of foreplay in 14 years of marriage. Have any suggestions oh wise one? We are listening to your 25 cents worth.

As for when it becomes painful, it's going to depend on the following:

How aroused I am
How wet I am even if I'm aroused
How hard is he?
How big he is
His technique
The kind of lube we use
Which part of my cycle am I in
Do I have a bladder infection?
Do I need to go to the bathroom?
Do I have a yeast infection?
Am I relaxing enough or tensing up?
Is the lube cold and it made me tense up?
Is the angle wrong?
Is the angle right but he pushed it in too fast before my fourchette could stretch?
Did I tear yesterday pretty bad and it's still sore?
Am I swollen from the friction already?
Is he wearing a condom?
Are we in the wrong position?
Is my estrogen low and causing vaginal atrophy?

Original poster, get your calculator out and tell me how that translates down to the 1/16th of an inch.
