How To Find A Boyfriend?

Just live your life. You will organically meet someone that will catch your eye, or you will be introduced to someone, or bump into someone in a line-up, or find a gym buddy that likes to talk, or.. you get the idea. Let it happen naturally.

Bars and hook-up apps are great for sex, not boyfriends.

A lot of people hit up the bars, looking for love. Or, they think apps will bring Mr. Wonderful into their life. While there certainly are success stories out there, those venues aren't great for long-term relationships. For the most part, you will be interacting with a lot of people who are used to one night stands, maybe a weekend's worth of fun, or those that quickly rotate through 1 month boyfriends.

However. The reality is you will more than likely explore that route anyway, because why not. Be safe, consider PrEP, and don't be afraid to say no. If you aren't comfortable with someone, leave. If you don't like what is happening, leave. Have a friend on quick dial. Tell a friend where you are going, and text them when you get home.

I don't know about "being gay", but being myself is awesome. For a long time I wasn't myself. I learned that family doesn't have to share the same blood. In fact, they usually don't. Coming out is just part of the process of becoming honest with yourself, on the path of discovering who You are.

Congrats on being brave enough to take those steps.
