Thanks for the response Rayray.

I don't drink that much, only on social occasions but it has known to make me to or say things I don't normally do. The outburst was not like me at all. When I asked her if the outburst never happened, would we still be together? She said yes.

We had arguments before but recently we had no arguments as we didn't see much of each other. We talked on the phone a lot. Met every now and then but I gave her space to focus on her studies.

one thing about texting: it is often a way of communicating with someone you don't want to talk with. give that a rest and learn a little patience. That sometimes is a problem with people today: everything is instant and if it's not (like relationships and growing. Learning about others by learning about ourselves) and can feel immensely frustrating.
