i did do that, and the only helpful way was to use AFE zone.
if i hardly knew what bottoming out was, (which clearly was explained to me wrong...), why the fuck would you assume i knew any of the other termonology? i'm not the only one out there with questions when they hear of a term for the first time, but it's people like you that make them scared to even ask.

Because you are new to the site (even though you've been here since march) I'm going to let you potential ignorance slide a bit. However, I will use the chance to direct you to the search option, which is what Mickeylee was trying to do in her own way.

This site has been around for so long, that quite a few topics have been covered, some of them, in tremendous depth. Members who have been here for a while have read them (hopefully). Having said that, since subjects are so quick to recycle themselves, often, it's easier to just take a peek in the LPSG archives of the Search option before posting something. First of all, Fleur, I suspect you haven't had alot of conversation with Mickey, and have just gone ahead and made assumptions based on some posts you've seen. Personally, I've always found that one should try to get to know everyone rather than labelling them so rapidly.

Second, she's not a troll. She's a person who has expectations for LPSG to be beyond a simple place. Once upon a time, (not 2 years ago)this site was actually full of really useful information. People were forming intelligent questions, scenarios and trying to figure things out. Many were posting postive responses, trying to help others.

In the last year or so, LPSG has digressed quite far in some regards, actually turning into some sort of silly Facebook type of place at times, where people post complete nonsense and giggle about it with their group of friends. Alot of people (as christina mentioned) are becoming lazy and rather than doing ANY research what so ever, they are just posting purely for the sake of getting their question answered. It's almost insulting to all the work people of the past put in. I guaruntee we've talked about bottoming out/cul du sac at LEAST 200 times on here, giving valid details and links on how to do it.

Third, I would appreciate it if EVERYONE didn't bash someone just because they stand up for what they believe in. Mickey remembers a more intelligent LPSG, she's allowed to try and bring it back by challenging people to be more intellectual.
