(Math nerd answer) Use a cloth sewing tape to measure both the inside of the curve, and the outside, then average the two numbers.

(Zen answer) Put down the ruler and just have fun using it! You'll be able to hit some spots others can't.
Math answer for me because I like being truthful to myself. Zen answer is true too. Turns out measuring the curve means jack shit. I measure slightly longer with the curve. Measure the bottom same as with out or maybe shorter. Huh

I've wondered this also. I have a upwards curved penis and it hugs my stomach pretty closely. The bottom of my penis is longer than the top due to the curve. I'm sure it would be the same for a downward curved penis. However the top measurement would be longer than the bottom. So that would be an advantage reporting wise. But oh well, I say do what what works for you, its yours and there is no measurement police who is going to lock you up for using whatever measurement you choose to use. either way when you have sex they'll feel your full size top and bottom anyway :)

Curved cocks are often excluded from official studies/measurements because of this big inner and outer measuring difference (and the difficulty of measuring).

You could do a flaccid stretch measurement instead which evens the playing field. My flaccid stretch length sits between the inner and outer curve measurement. Or you could measure how banana’s are officially measured: the outer (longer) curve. This is equally fair to both upwards and downward curved guys. No matter which way you flip a banana, upwards or downwards, it keeps the same dimensions, so the measuring should incorporate that. Which it doesn’t right now and that’s why it’s often excluded from studies.

Hard to say without seeing a pic of just how curvy it is. Here is a pic a showing proper way to measure:

I have an upcurve but I just try to straighten it a bit.
