How to multi-quote a reply in the forum.

There may be times when you wish to quote multiple forum posts to form a reply in a thread. This is called a multi-quote.

1. Click on the multi-quote icon (example) for every post you wish to quote . The icon is located at the bottom right corner of every forum post. Click on all of the posts you wish to quote in your reply, the multi-quote icon will turn red and display a "+" sign (example) when a post has been selected.

2. Scroll to to the last post in the thread. Below it on the left hand side you will see a button saying "Post Reply" (example). Click this button and a new page will load displaying all of the selected quotes in a reply box.

3. Type out your reply like any normal forum post and send your reply when finished.

all neat and separated by QUOTE tags.

so far i haven't found a limit of quotes in a single reply.
and i have seriously tested the quote function in my time on LPSG.

How do you use multi quote if you’re on your phone? Because when I hit post reply, it doesn’t quote anything?

Hi

We've got a site wide gussy up since the original post so the multi-quote process is a bit different and easier.

1. Same as above. Look for +quote button, right next to the like option.

2. Now when you go to reply there is an "insert quotes button. Next to attach files. Click that button and a window of selected quotes will pop up.

3. If you want to delete a quote you can deselect now. If you want to rearrange the order you can drag to reposition.

4. Last step hit "Quote Messages

Thank you for bumping. This gives me a chance to update info. And clear out what is a shameful number of multi-quotes I've inadvertently hoarding.
