I know I had the 30 now I have 40..but what does that have to do without air going into your pump?

You said “maybe you should upgrade to the x40” if I’m too thick, the model I use the the x50 xtreme so I can’t get a larger one.

Yes the base is quite tight after the first few mins, I get to 9.5 inches and the lower few inches of the pump are packed.

How because I’m quite slim I dont think I can use a much wider pump, a 4 inch pump is about the max my body size allows

The key to the bathmate is to not get too carried away. Increase it little by little over time. I would first focus on increasing the amount of time you can stay in the pump. After you get comfortable, increase the intensity.

Yeah in my session I do sometimes go up to max pressure, but its about consistent pumping and being at max pressure for the whole session isn't the best
