How to Write Essays

Lately, when sitting down to write my essays for my classes, I find myself repeating certain behaviors. My laptop sits on my kitchen island and I end up sitting cross-legged on a bar chair while typing. To get the creative juices going though, I put my headphones and listen to music with a good techno beat. I also end up masturbating to trans porn. Not just once, mind you, but several times throughout the course of writing the paper. Write a paragraph, masturbate, repeat.

Anyway, I thought it funny that I noticed I've been doing that as of late, and only when I'm writing my papers.

Anyone else have odd behaviors when doing schoolwork?

I usually just immerse myself into the task. I get all my books...my notes...and anything else I would need to do the work. But I work on things until I get tired. If I get tired...I stop writing. Write some notes down to keep my place. Then I go take a nap.

I used to make a point of getting REALLY baked!
I would stay up all night, the evening before the paper was due. I'd gather all my notes and reference materials together and roll several fat joints and had my bong ready with fresh ice-water.
I'd fire up a doober, then begin sifting through my reference materials and notes, laying it out in the order I would use it for my paper.
As I inevitably got a heavy buzz on, my creative juices began flowing and I'd knock out the paper. As I toiled on the paper I inevitably got more baked.
I'd keep an eye on the time, realizing I had to be done by dawn, so I could prepare for my morning classes. Fired-up the bong a few times for inspiration.
I was always able to complete the paper in time to leave the house on time! I even had time to grab a bite to eat before classes began! It's important to have a hearty breakfast, you know!
I also usually had time to get even more ripped before I did leave the house.
Ah, college days, I remember them well, LOL!

I think future marijuana research will eventually uncover heretofore unknown benefits of the plant.
It's already being said that it can cure cancer and other debilitating illnesses and diseases. Contrary to what out government has told us in the past, it isn't anywhere near as harmful as they have told us. It certainly isn't a gateway drug.
It's been said that studies prove it doesn't destroy brain cells, but in fact regenerates them. I know it certainly inspired me to new levels of creativity and ability to think "outside of the box"! All I know is, I was always laid-back, happy and confident in my abilities whenever I had some THC in my body. It was never a necessity, but it was definitely an enjoyable experience. It goes without saying that it made sex exponentially more enjoyable!
By the way, I got A's in every baked paper I turned in while in college. A lot of my professors spoke privately with me when returning my papers, telling me how they admired my "inspired" and "unique" perspective on various topics.

Hmm first thought hope it doesn't get gooey when typing :tongue: or when printing the final draft.

For myself I like to have the music on the background but after a few lines of my intro it takes off from there and I tone the music down so as to not get distracted.

If "schoolwork" includes pausing from finishing up a final end of year project to have sex with your girlfriend right there on the floor of the campus studio, then the answer is yes.

I draw a bubble bath and write with a pen and pad of paper while soaking. I can never write anything from start to finish at my computer because I get too distracted, so it's a really pleasant and quaint alternative.

I completely understand distraction. Not sure if I could manage a bath with a pen and pad though. Good typing skills (thank you dad for 8th grade typing class) has allowed me to have the ability for my hands to keep up with my brain while typing.

More importantly, despite my peculiar writing habits, I received my grades today and I passed!
