For bing the prompt is very important because you need the right verbiage to fool the filters, but it's also a bit random from what I've seen in the sense that some accounts trip the dog and others don't.

In stable diffusion the prompt isn't as important as choosing the right checkpoint, loras, and other settings. Also you need to try a shit ton of times to get what you want or something similar at least. The prompt can say a lot of things but the models aren't as powerful as what dall-e might have in the background, since this is something that needs to run in a limited amount of memory.

See the image below, the prompt is "a handsome man swimming in a pool"

It actually doesn't help you in any way because you need all the extra model details and to find the right seed to get that exact image but sometimes even with that you might not get the same one.

Here, here’s half a dozen lighting samples in case you were interested in making something that doesn’t look like it was animated by Pixar in 1996.

And Andy Warhol would have asked for help.
See, was that so hard? Now, true, it's a far cry from actionable advice, but I can see the ice starting to melt. Your Miranda has turned into more of Stanley Tucci's character and now we're in the Runway closet trying on Manolos.

What actionable advice can I give for somebody who won’t say what they want their picture to look like? “People don’t look like this, try again?”

The fact that you say that Bing is a plug and play application that anyone with a low IQ can operate does not flatter you as much as it you think it does.

lol you wouldn't say that if you saw the prompt that generated that image but nice try. I'm guessing the IQ crack struck a nerve? Apologies, bruising your ego was not the intent. Just wanted to stress how SD is much more work intensive than typing flowery phases into a text box.

I did.

You posted it underneath it.

detailed image, very photorealistic, a man who bears a strong resemblance to Nick (singer) Jonas, wearing a police officer uniform, sitting in chair, handcuffs on wrist, serious facial expression, arms, muslce, inside a police precinct, jail cell in the background, full body

Now let me tell you what you have done wrong.

#1. You failed to establish a medium. Telling dallE to make an image is like telling a bartender to make a liquid.

#2. You posted everything as a word salad.

#3. You failed to describe the setting beyond a generic place.

#4. You neglected to utilize any of the below:
  • Color scheme
  • Depth of field
  • Camera orientation
  • Camera angle
  • Lens
  • Lighting style
  • Color and direction of light
  • Film stock
  • Time
  • Geographic location
  • Action lines
  • Texture of skin
  • Grooming
  • Cultural references
  • Subliminal Freudian references
#5. the image has no inherent logic (why is the cop inside the jail cell wearing handcuffs but sitting like an interrogator?)

#6. You chose an early round generation which is why his face looks like a drag queen

Composing an image has NOTHING to do with the technical knowledge needed to use Stable Diffusion which I don’t use because I use a Mac and setting it up is burdensome. The fact that Stable Diffusion tends to create dead-eyed mutants like the one above also doesn’t recommend it.

People who want to make images ask for help and learn these things. People who don’t really want to learn do what you do, which is whine and insult people who actually know what they’re doing.

[Oh, delicious! Now you're doing Miranda's iconic "blue vs cerulean" scene, right on cue lol]

Firstly, if you were trying to one-up me I'd suggest producing an image objectively better than the one I generated with my scant prompt details. As it stands, you've succeeded in telling me that more kinds of words means better image detail. Groundbreaking, Miranda.

But, precisely my point though. I've done nothing wrong. You even agreed that Bing AI image generation is merely "painting with words". So it's a matter of style not skill. (Imagine telling Monet he needed to "blend more" Ha!). No, much like Andy's "blue" sweater, I put absolutely ZERO thought into how I compose my prompts beyond getting it to produce something "hot" that resembles what I intended. I mean, you do realize you're on a sex site, right? Most people are here to get off on something. They're not trying to learn to produce faux art pieces with AI tech. (And do what with them?) If you're looking for someone to laud you for having "mastered" the AI logic, ok, here it is: Bravo. But no matter how many threads you post showcasing your latest creations, it should come as no great shock that most here couldn't care less and indeed are "blithely unaware" of the difference between your grandiose masterpieces and something I've spit out with less than a minute of thought. They're not here to jerk off to aperture settings and depth perception balance or whatever. They want tongue kissing in waterfalls.

Now don't get me wrong, that you'd desire to teach people how they too can make such fine creations despite their best efforts to the contrary is not lost on me. I mean, it's taken some wheedling in this thread but you eventually added some substantive contributions. But my "whining" and "insulting" has been and will continue to be directed at what I see as uncalled for rudeness at the idea of simply answering a call for help, no matter how inane you may think the ask is.

That literally is the point of this thread. To get help to use the AI app to make pictures. I asked “What are you trying to do and what trouble are you having in getting the app to make it?”

To which you replied “I'd suggest ignoring these threads then. If you don't care to give that info (for whatever fear you have) that's your own affair. Continue to ignore those posts/threads. But some of us like to help others.”

You've gone from having a "problem with threads like these" to now being a true believer. I should say, my work here is finally done.

No, I said “My issue with threads like this is that it’s very hard to help people achieve what they want unless they actually say what they want.” Because people had asked for tips but no one was saying what exactly they needed help with.

Did you see The Favourite?

“Why won’t people share tips! It costs $0 to be helpful!”

“What do you need help with?”

“How dare you!”
