High School, man was I glad to get out of there. I was the quiet smart kid that messed up the grading curve. I was well known but mostly hung out with a small (5-10) group of real close friends.

Didn't drink, party, smoke, have sex or anything. Usually got home from school and got on my computer, spent most of my time on my computer or working on my car.

Sounds so much like me. I thought I was the only one who didn't drink, smoke, do drugs, or have sex in high school. Glad there are others.
I didn't have a computer 'cause it's been 28 years since I graduated.
I was always working on something too. I'm glad I didn't drink, smoke or
do drugs. I do wish I that I would have had sex though.

In high school I was very active in extra cirricular activies. I joined a total of 12 clubs, was on the golf team (so I could be exempted from gym class), wrote for the school newspaper, and was an officer in my sophomore year. While I knew a lot of people I didn't hang around w/ the popular group as they tend to be most student body officers. Luckily our h.s. didn't have a lot of snobby kids who were mean (like Mean Girls), full of attitude or think they were all that. The student body officers were good kids & strong academically. I'm not a morning person so I woke u late for most of my morning classes and flunk those but got A's in my afternoon classes. I took plenty of summer and night school to get caught up tho.

At lunch I just hung out w/ my girls throughout highschool and we ate our lunch in a teacher's classroom for the last 3 years. I wasn't out in high school but I did enjoy my own sense of style. One day I was asked to come downstairs to take a picture. I said for what? She said, you got voted "Most Sophosticated" for the h.s. yearbook. Was like what??????!?!?! lol

I never followed any crowd and I had a strong sense in indivualality. I was nice to all so no one really picked on me. I knew I was matured for my age and didnt too stuff that seem to me juvenille at the time but no way did I considered myself sophosticated. It was a good laugh but as least I made in the Pop Poll in the yearbook which is always nice.

Quiet.

Not shy exactly but content to be a silent observer. Had five close friends, two of whom were more like sisters to me. Near the end of my graduating year I got pulled into the "cool" group as one of them befriended me in order to meet my bf's older brother. Not a bad lot, but in some cases shallow went deeper than I expected.
