Hello
Do you think I should get vaccinated for HPV even when I'm 21 years old? According to the information I have found on the internet, it is quite a late age, but as a bottom I worry about possible infections. Social security doesn't cover it for men here, I'd have to pay it for myself.
I have been sexually active since I was 19, and have never had symptoms of HPV.

Some opinions:

Immunize British Columbia:
The HPV vaccine works best when people are vaccinated before they become sexually active. However, a person should still get the vaccine even if they are already sexually active. This is because they are unlikely to have been exposed to all of the types of HPV contained in the vaccine. The HPV vaccines do not treat HPV infections.

From Webmd:
When Should Adults Get the HPV Vaccine? It is an option for all men through age 21, but is recommended for men who have sex with men, transgendered people, or those who have a compromised immune system (including HIV) who are ages 26 and younger. CDC guidelines recommend the two doses of the HPV vaccine.Mar 31, 2019

From cdc.gov:
The human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccine is also available for gay, bisexual, and other men who have sex with men up to 26 years of age to prevent genital warts and other HPV-associated diseases and conditions such as oropharyngeal or anal cancer . The HPV vaccine is given as a three-dose series over six months.

So it looks like the findings point to " Yes." Good luck.
