I don't get what this is about or why you have posted this link. I read the adjoining article, is there something here you feel should be discussed?

The normal saying doesn't do it justice, so your post echoes my reaction to a TTTTT.

From what I've heard about Cornell West, is that for the past 4 years since The President's first election, Dr. West believes that, Obama hasn't done enough for black people. And he's been making constant remarks in this regard. It's just another criticism. I don't agree with Dr. West.

What has he done for black people?

OK, fair enough. I didn't know if it was a specific phrase he used or what that made you want to talk about this.

I'm not black and none of my friends who are have discussed this with me, so with that said...peace be upon you dear thread.

There may be some truth to what Dr.West has been saying but given how jealous he's become of Obama's success, I don't think Dr.West's opinions hold much weight.

West is still mad he didn't give a personal invitation to the first Obama inauguration...

This sounds like the Jeremiah Wright situation all over again. I understand Dr. West, has been critical of the President. Not certain if he understands that when elected president, you serve all of the people, not just any particular group. He's entitled to his opinion, I just disagree with him.
