The humane society here is under a huge investigation with two workers already charged with euthanasing animals without sedating them first. Caught of video and everything...
I hope the whole damned organisation hangs.

The article says the injury was non life threatening - he would have been better off allowing it to heal naturally!

    Wait.... Hold on now....calm down...

If you have an injured animal, you take it to a private vet.

The Humane Society is not that; animals are only inventory to them, and any problem or issue animals are quickly discarded; they put-down so many perfectly healthy animals anyways, so they cannot be convinced that their protocols are wrong.

That the man couldn't afford a vet - not their problem

That they don't take credit-card payments over the phone - they're not in a retail/service business

That they acted coldly and calloused - did you ever date a nurse?

Amazingly NOW they do take credit card payments over the phone  Strange how fast that change happened. And I wonder if they took credit card donations over the phone previously? :33:

I love cats and all animals. This makes my blood boil and at the same time puts a tear in my eye. So sad.

I haven't read any of the article links.

As a matter of fact, I squick every time I see this thread bumped to the top.

/loves animals. Sometimes even more than people.
