I typically hang around 5.5" soft and it's fairly thick, so it takes up space when it's hanging down my leg in pants or shorts. I used to wear normal every day briefs which would keep things compressed, with my dick positioned downward and bent under my balls. I recently discovered briefs with larger pouches that allow everything to hang free and relaxed, so it almost feels like I'm going commando. They're so much more comfortable and I love wearing them, but they do make things more visible, especially in gym shorts and sweat pants. As I've gotten older, I've learned to not be self-conscious about the bulge or VPL. I've never had a stranger comment, but I catch a quick glance every now and then. Occasionally a friend will make a joke about it, but my closest friends already know I'm hung, so it's not a big deal.
