The United States' tribes don't all go by the same rules. My NA tribes go by if one of the parents is NA and the other Non-NA, then the child is half. Sex of the parent don't matter. The Cherokee are matrilineal, meaning the child belongs to the clan of the mother. It doesn't mean the bloodline belongs only to the mother.

As of a few years ago, the Cherokee nation told the US to get lost and started things to reclaim whatever heritage we can reclaim while we still can. One of the moved is that the Cherokee nation requires that you prove your bloodlines for membership. And it doesn't have to be matrilineal anymore. You can prove it via DNA. Also those that were "absorbed" or adopted have been kicked out. The US no longer has a say in anything the Cherokee nation does anymore.

The Iroquois and the Cherokees are related. The Creeks were mortal enemies of the Cherokees until the white boys started their crap. Now we're pretty good friends. The enemy of my enemy is my friend. I have a really good friend that is Creek. We teach each other the others' native language when we get together. Surprisingly, Cherokee and Creek is very similar.

Oh.. I assumed we were related because I know the Creeks and Cherokees got sent to Oklahoma together during the trail of tears. I have a great, great, great grandmother who was a Cherokee child in the trail of tears but my father is registered as a Poarch Creek which is the only Creek tribe who got to stay in their native home. They hid as mixed black/white people but are blood tested as American Indian.

I saw an amateur filmed video of an American indian guy making a presentation to a bunch of land administrators.

I can't say I can remember a word of what was said because I was mesmerised by watching the bulge in his jeans.

MASSIVE.

Don't have any idea if thats typical but he was truly enormous.

I don't find Cherokee and Creek similar in any way. There may be a few shared words having been neighbors and all but the languages are from 2 totally different families. Creek, Seminole, Choctaw and Chickasaw are related linguistically but Cherokee is related to Iroquois and associated tribes in the north/northeast.

It's interesting to see that WpgcreeMale and 8inchers appear to have the stereotypical darker skin and reduced amount of body hair while Amplexus and Lykaner have fairer skin and moderate body hair. Proves how stereotypes are incorrect.

I'm not full-blooded, but I have Cherokee on both my dad's and mom's sides who lived in just last century, so relatively close in generations. Just don't know the actual percentages.
