1- What does it matter what the rest think? Set short and long-term goals, for YOUR damn good, don't evaluate that it will be better for the rest.

2- Don't feel guilty for not having the body you want, the first step to change is to recognize... My mother once told me before leaving: Nothing can be worse than dead desire, shit, how right she is.

3- Convince yourself, the power of self-convincing your head is a virtue, not everyone awakens it but if everyone has it, it's just about wanting to do it. So brother, are you really going to take a nap? You are stupid, go in search of your dreams, YOU are your own impediment. You must beat your head and take control of it.

4- I could spend hours talking about this, sleep well if you need it, but don't waste time, time is not waiting for you to make decisions.

Probably identify with all of them. I would also add to #1 that your motivation to do something can be anything that is important to YOU and that's why you shouldn't care what the rest think.

I recently saw a short reel of a Michael Phelps interview that also really resonates well with short term VS long term goal setting.

Paraphrasing: he said the would focus on 5 small things to improve every month, and just do that month after month, over and over again.

Those 5 short term goals (can be 1, 2.. but not a number that will be overwhelming) would then become a habit after the 1 month's worth of work. After a few months these short term goals will compound towards your long term goal.

Listen man you got a beautiful body no question I just think you know there's more to life than just moving that same weight up and down and it's Sissy and style. Oh my God I actually read some of your that's the dumbest advice I've ever heard don't take a nap beat your head take control what are you talking about it's the Western philosophy you cannot bend everything to your will . I'm sure I probably should privileged suburban kid whose gifted physically hasn't really run into things like that but I have that philosophy to get there got to make you kill yourself yeah if you bend it if you break it's cuz your brittle that's going to punch you you got to bend man s*** right now
