I am gay and I totally believe in bisexuality.

There is no one single rule on this and in a sense even discussing this tries to label something no matter how hard we try to avoid that situation.

In some cases bisexuality is a transitional phase and in others it is not.

There was a time in my life that I too always tried to be politically correct. The problem is that doing that at times creates exactly what we again were trying to avoid.

Decades ago long before I was hitched I played on both sides of the fence and the key for me was not necessarily gender but instead opportunity. If it was presented and available to me I really did not care either way. In fact based on my age I had some opportunities at some rather indecent parties in the 1970's to be doing both at the same time.

I am happily partnered and have been for a very long time. I would still say however that even now if I were single that everything would be based on attraction and opportunity and not on the gender.

Personally I cannot understand why this would be subject to critique by anyone. To me it comes down I think a little more to what I would call "hypersexual" at least in my case rather than homosexual, heterosexual or bisexual.

I agree that there is a huge double standard for bisexual women vs. men. I'd say 80% of women I am friends with have readily admitted they have, or desire to play w/ a woman either in private or to an entire group. Bisexuality in men , at least in my area of the shit ass that is the U.S. is a confusing sexuality for many.
I feel like I live more in the closet about my sexuality of 80% straight/20 gay than most of the gay people I know.

I have experienced women who in the same conversation go from expressing how much they love/want to fool w/ women, but were utterly disgusted by the thought of a guy with a guy once it was brought up..

I'm not sure how common bisexuality is in women. Many women are encouraged to act bisexual in clubs, bars, porn, etc., even if they are not (Imagine men doing this LOL - big difference here!).

I would venture to say that male bisexuality is more common, even though the vast majority of men refuse to having any same-sex attraction (we all know better, though). Why? Men's sexual nature embraces hypersexuality (a term pertinently brought up by FuzzyKen).

There are women who only watch gay male porn - they tell me they have zero interest in seeing naked women.

What kind of women are you around? Redneck ladies like Faith Hill? That may explain some stuff. But even some rural women are very repulsed by lesbianism.

It doesn't bother me. I know what I am, and the opinions of strangers who do not know me really don't matter.

I like cock sometimes. It's not that complicated.

The title of this thread made me lol though!

I started out as gay, then got scared straight at 18, I was straight for 40 yrs. Then 3 yrs ago, I realized I was gay. This time around, I believe there are more bi-sexual men than there are gays or straights in the world. I doubt id all bi-sexual men are out. I think they're d/l. But I could be wrong on that? My experience w/bi-sexual men indicates that they are d/l.

I will only address this from the "man" perspective, as women are a damned challenge to figure out on a good day, but from cradle to grave I crave, desire love and worship them. Yes I am pussy whipped at the drop of panty's.

I think there are some differences between men that will participate in a gay or same sex act, which I feel probably defines most men that are "bi' or "bi-curious" and men that seek a a deep romantic relationship with marital like bonds or in laymen terms probably mate for life.

I may not exactly get it and I may not ever from a man that is 100% gay perspective, but I am guessing that is probably how he may feel.

Having said all of that it would be impossible not to believe that other men may be 100% bisexual, meaning that they could find a mate of either sex.

Just my two cents.

Yes, as a bisexual, it does bother me when my sexual orientation is equated with being gay. I don't connect any more with gay guys than with str8 guys on a personal level. I like pussy just as much as cock, and cock just as much as pussy.

I am bi too. I am emotionally and sexually attracted to women. I am sexually attracted to male tops who enjoy having their cocks sucked and being pleasured to cum. I don't have the emotion attracted to men like I do for my wife. But I need to suck cock to satisfy a strong sexual itch that I have inside my mind that makes me a cock sucker.

Does it upset you when gays and even straights consider you "gay" just because you have or had sex with guys? How do you answer them when they label you?

Yes, it DOES. It is sad not only because I hate being misunderstood and mistaken for being someone else. If it was like 'you must be straight! I don't see you with a man!' it would be a bit better (though hurting too) because straight men are obviously much more tolerated than those not straight.I also know that girls are usually avoiding men who are told to be gay and I don't want that.
However, usually the comments are 'I always thought you are gay' or 'Aren't you lying to yourself? It seems you're gay but afraid to admit it'. And that is often told by strangers or people who don't know me close, which is the most annoying.

Still, even worse is when a close friend says: 'I know how you feel, I understand you're bi' and then, I get to know that the same person called me gay in a talk without me. Just to simplify the issue or what?! It happened to me twice and I felt really upset, misunderstood and betrayed.

What is my answer? If I am sober, I usually say: 'it's none of your business, I think I know better who I am and what my sexuality is than you, right?'

However such problems are often discussed when I drink with someone and than I can start to be sad and ask repeatedly: 'Why? Do you really think so? It's not like that! :( :( " :D

People are stupid and nosey, and that's that. Being bisexual is like walking between two rows of beating hammers and getting hurt every minute from both sides. That's why I like to talk to people who also are bi and know the truth about it... still, many gay or hetero people pretend to be bi and that's why there are so many stupid doubts.

I usually have alternating relationships, first with a woman, then with a man. These partnerships are both physical and emotional which include love, kissing ,cuddling ,and caressing.I believe that I'm a true bisexual.
I think it's funny when people think I'm queer and a breeder at the same time.
