I was at a Well known family restarant
    the
other day when I noticed a guy wearing
one of those "gifted" T-shirts. He was with
his wife and two young kids! I could
see a single guy maybe wearing this to a bar
as a joke,,,, but at afamily diner?!

    hmm.
    first off - LMAO!!!

ok. perhaps he is gifted at reading books to his children?
perhaps he is gifted at cutting the lawn.
he could be gifted in so many ways and in this instance, what is
    the harm in saying so?
i have not seen the "gifted" t-shirts. as long as it doesn't have a huge
cock on it, i can't see the harm in it.
i may have stepped into a big pile of poo in so saying in my ignorance,
    but...if its not bad...

I'm sorry, the graphic on the shirt
was a spoof on that bathroom symbol
for men, except having two legs,
it shows three. (I admit to being
    somewhat uptight about sex....but not
    that uptight :)

    ahhh...
    ok. i understand.
    lol.
hmmm. i don't think i would sport that t-shirt around
    my young female children.
male children on the other hand...i wouldn't worry about it.

In this day and time when people are offended if you wear a Crucifix or Star of David, offended if you say Merry Christmas, offended if you say Christmas tree rather than holiday tree, offended if you publicly pray, why shouldn't you be sensitive to or offended by this blatant display? There are places where such things are inappropriate.

I'm a dirty-minded bastard, but I keep my filth and smut (and even my swearing) away from children. If the shirt just had the slogan, that's fine because "I am gifted" can have innocent interpretations, but the logo...even if it's only cartoon/symbolic genitalia (whether it's male or female) I think it's inappropriate for children.

If it was this guy I can see it causing a stir (so to speak) in a family restaurant. But otherwise it sounds like he could have been gifted with a big dick, a gifted musician or maybe he was stating he was gifted with a beautiful family.

It wouldn't bother me a bit. If it does to other people they need to get a sense of humor! I have seen far worse worn by people mowing church, city parks, schools and wearing them to meeting too.

Years ago I bought a t-shirt that said in kind of small print on one shoulder, "Shy Guy with a Big Dick". At the time I was in Provincetown and thought it was kind of cute, but in all the time since I bought it I haven't had the nerve to wear it even in a gay bar. Ususally one who has to proclaim the loudest is the one who really shouldn't.

I had to laugh at a nice family christmas picture on facebook, including toddler kids. where one guy has one on. Kind of ruins the family moment for me - funny though!

i'd wear it. by the time your kids are old enough to get it, they would be old enough to see it. course my wife might not agree....

Most kids would not be able to understand the double entendre so it would be harmless and a chuckle for an adult who did.

If I saw this person, I would pull him aside, and then ask for proof of his giftedness. :biggrin1:

The shirt doesn't seems that bad to me.
I've seen a lot worse T-shirts out there.
In fact, I have a few of them.
