Thanks for the responses. Some of them have made me feel somewhat better about my own. But would you agree that being smaller does put limitations on what I can do or at least what positions I can have sex in?

Some of you say that size isn't really the issue, but would any of you larger men be satisfied, or have the same confidence if you were closer to my size (4.5" at best)? I guess what I'm saying is that it's easy for larger men to say size doesn't matter, because you guys have the size.

While I am considered big, I didn't always think it was that great. I'm extremely shy and was teased unmercifully in high school becasue of my size and wanted nothing more than to be normal. As a result, I was anything but confident.

With regard to women, thankfully the good ones are interested in more than the size of a guy's penis. Sure you get some women who fall all over you because they've been told about your "attributes". From my experience, these girls are shallow and very superficial--certainly nobody you'd want to have a relationship with. If you're lucky, you meet someone who wants to know you as a person and wants to develop a strong bond with you. I'm not going to lie, everyone enjoys sex, but life with someone doesn't only happen behind the closed doors of your bedroom. It's 24/7 and sometimes messy and unpleasant. You want a woman who'll be with you through all the trouble as well as the good times.

Whew. It's a little bit of a relief to read this thread.

I've always been awkward about my sexuality. I didn't realize I was big until late college-ish; once I found out, yeah, it was an ego boost, but to this day I'm still shy and awkward and embarrassed in real life.

I'm getting better, but it's all a mental game. So yeah, while I'd say having a bigger one helps, it doesn't help a whole lot.
