From what we can read online, when there is a discussion about how to place the (flaccid) penis in underwear, many boys declare to position it downwards. However, as far as I'm concerned, I'm not able to do it. I noticed that, except when I am standing, I am not able to keep my penis downward. I should probably say that it is my penis that does not stay down. In any case, this is not related to the type of underwear I use (especially because almost always I wear briefs). In fact, even if I put my penis downward, as soon as I sit, I lie down or I bow, for example to collect something from the floor, it returns upward (although not perfectly straight). Moreover, when my penis is placed downwards I perceive a slight discomfort, as if I force a part of the body to assume an uncomfortable position: this is probably due to the fact that I got used to positioning it upwards. But not only. I noticed that my penis when flaccid, it doesn't entirely point down, so as to lean on the scrotum. I could almost say that it is perpendicular to the floor or to the testicles.

This particularity could be completely irrelevant. However, besides being curious if it is present in other boys and therefore common, it has become important for me for another reason. In fact, I would have decided to keep my foreskin always retracted. Leaving aside that I would do it mainly because aesthetically speaking I prefer to have my glans exposed, I realized that this becomes slightly difficult if I leave the penis positioned upwards. The reason is simple: the only area of my glans that is very sensitive is the one where the frenulum is located. On the contrary, the rest of the glans does not cause me discomfort if it is rubbed. Pointing the penis upwards, the part of the glans most stimulated by rubbing with the underwear is precisely that of the frenulum. Instead, if I could keep it positioned downward, the frenulum would be more protected since it would be the rest of the glans to be more stimulated because of contact with the briefs. In short, I would have fewer problems. Can someone help me or give me some useful advice ?

how big are you soft? if you are less than three inches, you will not stay down. you will bulge out. Your penis will sit on top of your sack.

You're probably right. Perhaps the positioning of the penis in the briefs depends, in addition to the habit, also on its length. And from this point of view, I am not very lucky...

Show pics. I looked through several pages of your pics, mostly women. The male pics were normal anatomically, with the penis down so based on your post those pictures must be of someone else.

In fact, I didn't say to be "abnormal". I only wrote that, unlike most guys, I can't keep my penis downwards in the briefs. This, in addition to the length and habit of positioning it upwards, in my opinion may depend on the fact that my penis when flaccid (without underwear) it doesn't entirely point down, so as to lean on the scrotum...

Have you considered trying boxers? Down in briefs doesn't work for me unless the briefs are loose; even then, they don't feel comfortable. When I wear briefs, a Speedo, or cycling shorts, I have to point my dick up. This requires frequent adjustment. For me, the solution was switching to boxers. Knit boxers have more give and stretch than broadcloth boxers, and have become my default daily wear.

Nor did I say abnormal.

I think I have a few possibilities to consider.

I remember a thread in here a while back about special underwear that keep the penis and scrotum in separate compartments. I’m not sure but maybe that would help you point downward. For example there is Separatec underwear.

Then there is another product called Manhood which is designed mostly for cut men. However their website says that it also can protect uncut guys from scratchy clothing, so maybe you can wear that and still point up

I think the best option though is just to have me follow you around all day and hold it in the down position with my hand or mouth.

Baffling. I can't understand why guys like wearing their dicks up, but I suppose it's not really my choice, is it? : )

Perhaps because I am used to keeping it in that position and in that way for many years, I consider it normal and more comfortable

I point mine to the right when I put my underwear on but by the middle of the day it naturally ends up pointing down. Sometimes I just find it uncomfortable a d have to readjust. I only wear briefs too so pointing up is very comfortable to me as is pointing to the right. But if I end up pointing down I dont always fine it uncomfortable. When I go to the bathroom I just readjust to the right and go about my day

You can find my thread on Separatec brand in the underwear forum. This is definitely a winner for guys who like to wear it down. I've even found Aoelement brand on Amazon for guys who want it pointing straight up.
