I know, because I have no rhythm, and I never had any problems marching straight. As a matter of fact I won a trophy for marching straight when I was 7 and a majorette. My colorguard unit won a trophy for marching straight in a parade in Myrtle Beach when I was in high school. FWIW - the parade ocurred during a monsoon with gail force winds. Marching straight has nothing to do with rhythm or lack thereof; marching is about counting and knowing your right from your left.
