The dj from last night must have been from the 80's but he played nothing but George Thorogood, ZZ Top and the the like. The younger girls my age 20's did not know how to dance to it or want to either or.

Needless to say I ended the night with a good looking 40's ladie because I could keep up with her on the "tube snake boogie" lol.

Just thought it was odd the younger gals dident like the 80's style dance music.

Ok.. you feel 'sorry' for younger girls just because they don't share your musical preferences? Whatever.

I grew up on ZZ top, Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden, Pantera and all that good 80's metal. I love a lot of the songs and remember my parents dancing around the house like teenagers while they jammed out.

However, now that I'm in my 20's and have my own personal tastes I prefer Gore Core Death Metal. Bands like Dying Fetus, Cannibal Corpse, White Chapel, Oceano.. stuff like that. I also like ICP, Twiztid, Tech N9ne, 666 Mafia (before they got all pussyfoot on us). If I saw You at a place that was jamming That type of shit and saw that you weren't into it, I wouldn't feel 'sorry' for you. I'd just assume you and I had different tastes. It's not a reason to pity you.

If you were happy with your 40 something woman, right on... but that's no reason to put down younger girls just because they aren't interested in everything You are. (and just IMO, you do come off like you're judging younger girls in a negative way)

Oh, and I think you mean FEEL sorry... not FELL sorry.

EDIT: I'm sorry in advance because this is some blunt shit and I say it in hopes to open your mind a bit:

You say you feel sorry for them for not getting into the music.. and that you left with an older woman. It seems maybe you feel sorry for the young women, because you didn't choose one of them at the end of the night.. as if that's the only real reason they were out in the first place, just to get 'chosen' by some guy to go home with.

Sure, some women do stuff like that. Not ALL of us do. Some ladies like to go out just to get out of the house and have fun.. not to impress people with their dance numbers and musical preferences.

I think he just did that deal where, when you're typing a word with a doubled letter coming up, sometimes you accidentally double up the wrong one in haste (rather than not knowing how to spell it). Also, some spell check setups will scan the text box for the post, but not the subject line. Mine does that. :frown1:

But yeah, he should have scanned over it all himself anyhow.

Women will like what we tell them to like!

....and they'll damn well dance how we tell them to dance! ;)

Hey, TNJ...THRASH baby!

We can dance if we want to, we can dance, we can dance...everybody look at your hands...all my friends dance, and if they don't dance, then they're no friends of mine.

so, you now base your attractiveness towards a girl in relation to her musical era preferences and or appreciation/depreciation?

god, now where were girls like YOU in MY high school ?
And this is a women's issue how?
Dig it.
Women will like what we tell them to like!
Sure! Right after you clunk them over the head with your fucking caveman's club and drag 'em away, right?
I feel sorry for people who can't spell simple four letter words. I mean, typos happen, especially when they spell real words. However, I would think one might be inspired to take particular care how the title of the thread looks. No?
Sadly, people will often consider those values as anachronic and anal nowadays.

Don't you dare feel sorry for young girls. Don't know if you noticed but the media is absolutely obsessed with us, think we rock, fart sunshine, have the most valuable opinions of all, and are the reason the world goes 'round. Add, even the dumbest most annoying average jane pain in the ass total spoiled bitch has more penis coming at her than she can shake a stick at. Seriously, we're doing OK ... that is, unless you live in Afghanistan or the like. Then you're pretty fucked.

You know me, Chuck. I believe words are how we think, and an inability to use words adequately is an inability to think adequately, or at best, an inability to share what one is thinking.
Same here there, Altered Ego, but the problem is- we're on a site where the better percentile of users don't value nor share that posture.
