I finally did it

A while back when I was still in high school I dropped out because I no longer felt safe, because of discrimination. I would always fear having to go to school. At any rate this is the Past. You are looking at the newest high school graduate, I got my diploma through a correspondence course it's taken me about 2 years to accomplish this but it was well worth it, I received my diploma on Thursday, this is one of the greatest feelings in the world and a big achievement in my life, I am so excited, I just had to share with my friends here :biggrin1::biggrin1::biggrin1::biggrin1::biggrin1:

Way to go, big congrats Wally!

I have to say I feel with ya man, due to different circumstances I also didn't graduate with the rest of my class, but that didn't stop me. I pushed on even after everyone I knew was going on to college or the working world, and FINALLY two years later, I too got this same feeling you're now experiencing!

It's a great feeling to finally get something out of all of those woeful years of high school, something you EARNED and something that's yours to keep and feel proud of.


I'm actually really glad to see someone who didn't get discouraged when faced with problems. It seems like most schools do everything they can to make you fail, then are no where in sight when you need help. It really sucks to become another victim to it, too. I'm glad you haven't.
