Who when they see a geeky, ugly, short etcetra dude with hot chicks feel the need to hate on him. I've never had this happen to me and i have never participated in this type of hating. Does it annoy anyone else? i just feel bad for the guy getting dissed.

The rules in clubs are different from those at work or school. Everything about a club is superficial and made to enhance any number of given stereotypes and fantasies, good and bad. Ever seen one with the lights turned on?

Q: What is the difference between a trendy nightclub with all the house lights are on and riding Walt Disney World's Space Mountain with all its house lights on?

A: There is no fucking rollercoaster in the middle of a trendy nightclub.:biggrin1:

I have ridden on Walt Disney World's Space Mountain once when all the inside house lights were turned on--no effects or anything. It looks like someone put a rollercoaster in a gymnasium designed by a blind architect.

It's not just guys.

Once I went to a straight bar with a group of friends. We were out of chairs so I was squatting on the floor for a good 10-15 minutes having a conversation with a buddy, when my knees got tired. As I stood up I accidentally bumped a lady and knocked the drink out of her hand. Quickly I apologized and offered to buy her a replacement drink.

She accused me of doing so on purpose, so as to have an excuse to buy her a drink. I explained this was clearly not the case, being gay and completely unaware of her presence. A friend of hers sitting at the table nearby, snorted and laughed aloud.

I was then told to get out of her face before her gigantic boyfriend came over to beat the crap out of me.

Mind you, she was probably 25 years older than me and nowhere near what I would define as "good looking."

I am not so jaded as to say: nothing people do in public shocks or surprises me. They do, the level of stupidity is fascinating to me. Then again, so is the drunk on the corner hurling vomit in one breath then stuffing a taco in his mouth the next. Awe inspiring that is. LOL

People at clubs/bars are usually a special breed of stupid, hence why I stopped going to them long ago.

Ditto for me. I haven't been to one in about 12 years. The thought of going to a nightclub absolutely horrifies me now!

I'd go bar dancing easy, but dedicated clubs? I am fairly good with a knife, but I'm not that good. They just seem to attract well...people with more drugs than sense. I prefer the whole socialising with people I give a shit about lark.
