Thats kind of two questions, I would like to answer it as well if I may...

I don't really have one, I still have not formulated what I would do with a son if I had one. The only reason I would not have him circumcised at birth would be due to the two only truths about the procedure:

1. The pain that is associated
2. That he didnt choose for himself.

Truthfully the pain concern worries me most because I kind of know as an adult just how painful it is (the first hour after my circumcision once the anesthetic wore off is memorable). As for the whole choice aspect, I believe there are other things in a childs life the parents choose for him/her that have greater and real impact on them as people than the snip does.

2. Would I the owner of an adult circumcised penis would have been preferred to be RIC?

For me it has nothing to do with looking like friends or family. Where I am from circ rate is like 20%. So I was fine growing up. Honestly now that I look back I am glad it was my choice but knowing how much I like my penis as it is now I think if I could go back and tell my mom what to do I would have told her to have me done at least when I was younger, before puberty.
