A first year debater in high school could easily come to the same conclusion. Several lawyers have reached it in court cases and the Supreme Court has ruled that the logic you're employing is invalid; guilt by proxy is nonsense.

You're too smart for your own good. He isnt saying the original people are guilty- he's saying the original people shouldnbt be shocked that their pics get circulated
and I disagree with the premise. This isn't the equivalent of a Pride Parade, the internet isn't the equivalent of a city and acting responsibly virtually does not equate to acting responsibly in reality.Originally Posted by hilaire http://www.lpsg.org/images/buttons/viewpost.gif
Te refresh, LPSG is the equivalent of the Pride Parade, the internet is the equivalent of the city through which the parade marches.
...and most cities have laws against it - irregardless of sexual orientation...
I wish we had laws against improper grammar
just wanna use this platform to express my feelings ...
i hate gay pride!
i am from cologne in germany ... the most famous gay city (beside berlin) in germany ... and the gay community is celebrating cologne pride this weekend ... 1000s of gay people from all over the world in my city ...
and imho this event is a shame for my city ... i wish it would be over already!
i wish it would be the last pride festival in cologne ...
i am also gay, but this event is a shame for all "ordinary" gay guys ...
you guys don't have to comment my posting ... just accept that i wanna say what i said ...
if you'd like to tell me what you're thinking about gay pride, go ahead!
haha
and people who slow down at green lights...
Rikter, if you seriously believe that LPSG members don't download and disseminate the pictures in people albums then I can't believe you've been a member here as long as you have. Members here regularly report discovering their LPSG album pictures circulating elsewhere on the internet.
If you post nude pictures of yourself anywhere on the internet with the best moderators and ToS in the world, nothing is going to stop people from finding ways of downloading and circulating those images, even if it's just by using a snipping tool.
Therefore if you post nude pictures of yourself on the internet you are doing so in public. It is therefore absolutely no different to walking down the street with no clothes on. Deal.
You Missed my point completely.
Looking for it online VS having it walk down main street is very different.
It is very different than walking down the street - as most websites require you to certify you are above the age of 18 years old.
You have to take an extra step to see the content. Be it Logging in or certifying your age as an adult.
People can circulate whatever they want. But it's not popping up on your computer screen when you go to Yahoo.

The other month I found a tumblr, with thousands of non-age verified followers, which contained photos of a guy's dick bearing the LPSG watermark.
As for the pride parades I don't have a problem with them being flamboyant and over the top because I understand how taking something you were hated for (and still hated for by many people in the GLBT's case) and show that there is nothing wrong with it, and you aren't scared or hurt by their words. It's very empowering. For all of the GLBT people who don't like the costumes and all that, you SHOULD go. The more diverse the parade the better, no?
I understand the photo issue. It's the one word above "Found" meaning you had to Look for it.
... thought it was nice to see gay activism but that he wasn't sure the amount of nudity and flamboyance was actually going to help the gay cause and therefore he doesn't intend to go to any more of them. But this is the type of guy you want at your events, and if this behavior is chasing people like him off, it may be time to tone it down a bit.
