Hi everyone,

I've never posted anything like this, but given the great community this is i hope i receive some good advice.

I don't know if there are any dermatologists or urologists in here but if not, then maybe someone else has had this same thing.

Ok so here it goes:

21epxc7.jpg

Things you need to know:
  • I've had this white pimple for some time now (2-3 years)
  • It doesn't hurt
  • When I touch it it feels hard
  • It started out as a tiny pimple and it started growing and reached this size in like a month.
  • Its about 6mm in diameter. I know it sounds small but trust me its huge-ish for it being on your dick area
  • I have others in other areas, but this one is the biggest one.

Things I need to know:
  • What is it?
  • Have you/Do you have one?
  • Are you a doctor, or have some medical background? (If not, that's ok, just curious).
  • Should I be worried?
  • Am I gonna die, or is my dick gonna fall off? (Basically the same thing)
  • To get it removed, should I go see a dermatologist or a urologist?

Thanks a lot guys. Please comment

No matter what I or anyone says you should see a doctor. Primary care physician should be good, and they may or may not refer you to a dermatologist. Urologists have nothing to do with this - this isn't on your testicle, it's on your scrotum.

Could be something like a sebaceous cyst or something similar. Doubt it's something imminently dangerous like cancer but you should still see a doctor to rule anything out. Also, don't pop it.

Question.. Have you tried to pop it? It may be an ingrown hair.

Yes, sorry I forgot to mention, I popped it one when it was small as I thought the same, that it might be an ingrown hair, and it did pop.

After that, it disappeared for like a week and then it came back and that's when it grew and became this monster  (like it got angry or something and came back for revenge).

And now it doesn't pop at all, its like a tiny white marble inside my skin.

Thanks for all your answers. I will definitely get it checked, I've just been putting it off for a long time.

I'm still hoping there's a dermatologist here somewhere to give it a name...

looks exactly like what i had, as a teen, imagine
anyway as a Teen hah i just hoped like hell it would go away, it eventually did
BUT
i think (am not sure) it took years, and one day it was not there
I am figuring it may be a sort of 'grease spot' or whatever
bloody annoying thing/s aye, geuss the ole doc will just freeze the bugger off ..?? geussing!
i only ever had the one btw ..

SHIT tbh
i cant recall if mine was in about the same spot, or on the Penis skin itself, think it was about an inch from the top of the foreskin now that i recall, examining the fcker for ages...true.
and it sort of dried up/stayed there as a mark then dissapeared totally

No i did not have two, or two with one after the other

Get it checked. A very easy way to remove tags and skin blemishes like this (assuming it is found to be harmless) is with one of those wart/verucca freezing kits, and basically burn or freeze it off. Very successfully removes these things and the healing is surprisingly rapid. People don't want to feel these blemishes down there, and scrotums seem to attract them!

You go to the doctor immediatly. Tell him/her that you have masturbated too much and instead of hair growing hair on the palm of your hands as you motherhad warned you about, you got that pimple on scrotum :)

What is important to tell the doctor is that you have had that for a long while, but that it started to grow in the last couple of weeks.

Assuming it is ingrown hair, you should ask to have it "fixed" permanently so you don't have to worry about it anymore.

Consider the opposite: you do not go to the doctor and keep worrying about whether this could be serious or not.

You go see the doc, he gets rid of that pimple for good and youl be much happier afterwards. (whether the pimple is benign or some sort of flesh eating cancer, getting rid of it will be a big benefit to you because you wont have to worry about its looks anymore.)

I had one of those. It turned out to be a clogged sweat gland. My Dr wasn't willing to do anything about it, so I pierced it and squeezed it out. It was gross, and left me with a small bruise for a few days, but it never came back. Check with your DR first though, just to make sure it isn't something else.

Had a couple of these myself. Sebaceous cysts or follicular cysts. Look kind of like a whitehead pimple except they never go away and can grow in size over time. Had to see a dermatologist to get them surgically excised. Usually a stitch or two is needed and you have to keep the area clean and dry for a few days. Wasn't the most fun experience, but they never came back. Good luck.

sounds like its a little more common than not
having experienced it as a youngster and with others confirming, grease spot / sebaceous cyst
can say to the youngers out there who may have such
dont get overly shit scared, it seems its not life threatening nor cock destroying, so when you have enuf confidence to face a Dr, get it looked at .. adding this as its well known we BS Macho Males refrain from getting anything medical done
esp down that region
No use overly traumatizing yourself for life

I agree that it is probably a sebaceous cyst and is harmless but go to the doctor to get it removed instead of trying to do it yourself. I got a tiny one a while back that started from an ingrown hair on the underside of my penis where it connects to the scrotum and instead of going to the doctor, I kept picking at it with a pin and tweezers and now I have a small scar from not doing it right.
