I just replaced the drag links on my car. That is NOT fun to do when stuck in the sun, in 82 degree weather with a heat index of 90 and essentially no breeze. I was repelling flies by the time I was done. Yuck! But, on the same note, it feels good to get down and dirty once in a while... and NOT just in the bedroom.
That's how I felt after spending 10 days at the bottom of The Grand Canyon without shaving or showering. Google Image Result for http://www.desertlivingtoday.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/04/havasu-falls-havasupai-indian-reservation-arizona.jpg
^ I understand each of those words individually but put them together in a sentence and it makes no sense to me. This is why I take my car to the dealership when something needs doing.
Yes It is good to get dirty and sweaty and then become clean. This morning for about four hours I worked in the garden cleaning and weeding and pruning. It was 95'ish in the sun by 11.00 when I quit. Too hot! even though I turned the hose on myself a couple times. The dust mixing with sweat on my back was really itchy. Felt good to shower and drink some tea and enjoy my clean garden from the airconditioned house!
How about if we also talk about the tools you need to do the job?? Like a jack. a screw driver , a wrench, a pry bar, and possibly a joint spreader.
We should check out Meg's Rack and Pinion! No wait... if she's using drag links she has recirculating balls... (But she does have a rack)
Screw you guys, I just got home from the pool!!!!! Oh, it was amazing! :biggrin1: Edit-I have just realised that it was a PUBLIC POOL, so I need a shower anyways
xD Not sure how they all fit in on other cars, but in my car, it's just a metal rod that connects the sway bar to the strut. They were broken and my car couldn't pass inspection without replacing them, and my tags are expired on my car... need to pass inspection before I can renew my tags!
