This is probably a ridiculous place to talk about this, but ...

My musical tastes where pretty much solidified by the end of the '80s, and sometime this decade I pretty much stopped paying attention to new bands. I mainly listen to classic rock, punk and new wave. When I hear a new song or a new artist that really grabs my attention these days, it's usually country or some folky singer/songwriter.

That said, I just heard on the radio the most amazing song, called, I think, "I Won't Teach Your Boyfriend How to Dance With You." It sounds like Robert Smith from the Cure fronting the Jesus and Mary Chain with a high-school cheerleading squad on backup vocals. It's absolutely incredible. Is this the kind of stuff kids are listening to these days? If so, my hope for the future has just been restored. Does anybody know who this band is?

It is a good song. Great taste!

That video is the right one.

And yes it sounds exactly like you described.

That's it -- thanks! And wow, it actually looks like a video from the '80s, those actually are cheerleaders, and I think they did actually steal a riff from the Jesus and Mary Chain!

I saw them live at Glastonbury this year, they are great, really light and you're right, made me feel like I was living in the 80's again!

Its pretty good considering the music these days. But lets just hope they aren't 1 hit wonders and the rest of their music sounds like shite
