Kinda knew that was going to be the reaction here...

    Consider it retracted.

    *bashes head against the wall*
And just when I thought I'd actually avoid talk of the Superbowl and pass through that weekend oblivious as to who played and who won. Meh, don't mind me, but I really don't care for all the hype around professional football or it in general.

Aw, Danny, congratulations to all you Bears fans! I was rooting for them because I like Rex Grossman and Brian Urlacher. They are the closest I have to a favorite team in the NFL. Go Bears!

    Yer absolutely right...

Listen, I'm not down with the hype either - and I'll admit to being a fair weather fan in that respect - but after being starved 21 years for a winning team...

It's just that I posted this, it sat for an hour, and then the only response was negative. That, combined with the level of intellect around here - IME, intellectuals don't usually cave to mouthbreathing organized sports...

    Call me Mr. Sensitive

And it's official: Colts and the Bears! A Midwest Superbowl!

I'll also have to admit that the few times I do have the TV on, it's for baseball or football...
