My conditioner winds up there. My head hair is quite long. So it started as happy accident/convenient place to schmear excess.

I condition mine too. I exfoliate with my face wash, then apply conditioner and wait five minutes, then shave the perimeter and labia, then exfoliate again and rinse. After shower, when I rub coconut oil everywhere, that region gets included. I try not to get oil in the remaining hair though. Coconut oil stiffens in the cold. Instead, when I oil my scalp, I slap a little of that oil into my pubes. Smells nice, hair is super soft. Never a complaint. Even men who tell me they prefer bald end up complimenting it.

Re-reading this thread reminded me to add more besides my initial post. I don't shave a thing, but due to genetics I literally get a single noticeable underarm hair on the left side which I pluck... What little leg hair I have is sparse, fine, soft, and light in color. My mound isn't that hairy, grows in a shape I find pleasing, and is extremely soft. Even if I wanted to be hirsute I couldn't be I do a little plucking of stray eyebrow hair's, and that's it. *Shrug* Genetics

I bet a scrub to exfoliate would speed up my loosening of the "likely to sheds."
Coconut won't stiffen on the body, FWIW. My braid tassel won't stiffen until nearly freezing, and only on the outside of my jacket.

I have experience with coconut oil stiffening in my hair. It's why I don't use it. You are just more radiant than I.

Nah. Unless it's in direct contact with my skin, the hair and its coating are basically subject to the elements. I'm essentially a vampire. People struggle to find my pulse, my blood pressure is really low, and I'm cool to the touch for a significant portion of the day. I perfuse well, I'm just... Only partially alive? LOL

I have used just a dime size amount on my entire head and seen a difference in texture. It's just not for me.

I can't believe I length checked my pubes. My length spot is right above the labial cleft. I measure by lifting all my pubes rake style with my fingers. I kinda have a pussy faux-hawk. Shorter on the perimeter, longer toward the center point of my bush. The hair lays down toward the center, with a lil peak/curl wave there at me cooter apex.

Yes. I have too much free time.

Never had any issues with tangling. Have had hair wrap jewelry. That is not pleasant.
