Realy. You are what you are. If you came into this world as a tortoise, you will never be a hare.
Having said that, I will admit that Ilove my cock very much.

Ditto on being glad I'm a man. I like having a penis, being hairy, having a deep voice, and being able to say, "Who gives a shit?!" without feeling guilty about it. Maybe it's just my midwestern upbringing, but the women were (and are, frankly) always way too worried about what everyone else thought, or how they felt, or whatever. I remember telling my wife after we first got married years ago that she'd find things much easier if she could convince herself to stop caring what others thought about her. Obviously this has limits, but I gotta say, that's one of the things I like about being a man. That and the sense of power I get when I have a hard-on. LOL

huuuuhhh??? Why would it be politically incorrect to say you're happy to be male??

Who is supposedly offended by that?? I assume it's women since women are the only one's that are not male.

You'd be amazed. I live in a very "Politically Correct" area where it just seems that males in general -- and straight males in particular -- are supposed to feel guilty because, supposedly, we're responsible for ruining the world. The anger comes most strongly, it seems, from lesbian women, but it doesn't stop there. It includes so-called "male feminists" who seem to me to agree with the idea that males are what is wrong with the world. I support women's rights and equality. But when you start teaching that it's basically wrong for a male to be proud to be male, you've gone to far (and that's how far some seem to go).

California! Love it though... the silent majority will always embrace their gender and sexuality

I agree with Seaside.

I am also looking forward to the shitstorm, truth be told. Not at the idea of loving being male, but the attack on lesbians. Way not cool.

Henry Miller - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Okay. I'll explain. The guy above "Good Looking Loser" indicated that what I describe goes on in California too. But I am actually not in California. My profile says "Big Sur, California" because that's where the author Henry Miller lived -- and I use him as my username. I thought people would "get" that reference, but apparently he's not that famous anymore.

Anyway, about where I encounter the attitudes I refer to above.... I live in the Pacific Northwest, in one of its more liberal cities. On the positive side, there is a lot of acceptance of different people. Believe it or not, I'm a "liberal." But, if I have to be honest, it seems that liberal males are often very castrated -- because they (we) are often surrounded by man-hating women and men who are ashamed to be men and who seem apologetic about it.

I'm not a conservative at all. But one thing I sometimes admire about conservative men is that they drip masculinity and are very proud of that fact.

So, there's your answer.... :)

Oh, please. Harldy an attack on lesbians. An accurate portrayal of what I've experienced. One of my sisters came out of the closet when I was a little boy, and I had to grow up listening to her lesbian friends talk about how males stink, etc. It's common knowledge that a lot of lesbians do not like males. It's just not politically correct to say so. But I just said so. It's the truth. Deal with it.

After all the things you've implied about yourself all these years, I'm surprised, delighted and impressed.

Just lighten up...and you'll be free.

Funny. :biggrin1: This forum has grown a lot over the years, and a lot of people who were here before are now gone, so I'm surprised when I run across people who apparently have been following me for years. Wow. And, so there's your answer above: if I seem to have struggled with issues about my own masculinity, it's partly due to the man-hating lesbians I was around. And I know I've had my detractors on this forum too (like everyone does on all forums; that's life), but some of my detractors have since been banned -- one of them for stealing the pictures of another person and making up a fake persona on this site. So, there you have it. In other words, thanks. lol :biggrin1:

It's also common knowledge that a lot of men are egotistical and overbearing.
