I have my first harvestable veggie of the year. A zucchini! It is fucking huge! It'll feed me for days!!!

Of course! But you really shouldn't let your zuccini get that big. Unless you're a size queen.:biggrin1::wink:

I have a garden. I've got squash out the ears now. I'm trying to find enough people to give them to. I had one ripe tomato, but the varmints ate the end out of it. They keep on bothering my stuff, and I may have to exterminate a few varmints.

I have some nice flowers too. It's very dry here, so I have to water stuff pretty regularly.

I had some sort of insect eating the leaves of my broccoli, but I put a earth-friendly organic type spray on it and it took care of the problem. There is a fence around the garden itself, and when stuff was growing, I had a net over it to keep birds out. Maybe those are some options for you?
My yellow squash is still pretty small. The zucchni kind of crept up on me. I had no idea that one was there. It was sorta buried under the leaves.

Sorry to hear that you have a small squash. Perhaps if you tried jelqing it it would become larager over time.

Knowing you there, Ironsoul, I'm pretty certain that before it'll feed you for days, it'll more than likely entertain you. Gee maybe you should've grown an extra one?

Oh baby, I assure you I am growing plenty. Considering this one is thicker than my bicep, I won't be using it for recreational purposes. That would be one big ouch.....

I have two squash plants, two green pepper plants, two eggplant plants, 6 tomato plants, and 2 grape vines. I have a bunch of flowers but the ones that I planted are a bunch of carnations, two climbing roses and one rose bush, a hydrangea, and a bunch of perrenials I am not sure what the exact names of them are. I also recently planted a pink mist smoke tree. one of the squash I planted is growing like crazy. It has easily outgrew every other vegetable I planted in the garden, it's weird.

those are really nice. i have yet to embark on planting beds with annuals that way. i love them. are the ones in a row (the first one, along a sidewalk) zinnias? i know what the others are, but that one escapes me.

BTW-- i would kill to have a man that liked to plant flowers.
