I've had quite a foot fetish since my childhood. I still don't understand how it started, but to this day I'm as turned on by pretty women's feet as I always was. It's not a true fetish, in that sex doesn't revolve around feet, but attractive feet/toes are a real plus. Anyone know what triggers a foot fetish? (I wonder if it starts in infancy when the baby discovers the sensual pleasure of playing with and sucking his/her own toes, but when he later develops a sexual interest in other peoples bodies, the feet remain an erotic focus.)

I'd also like to know if many women also find feet a big turn-on, and whether they prefer male or female feet.

Hmmmm. Not a clue. Personally I have the opposite problem. While "attractive" feet don't do anything for me, feet that are unkempt make me ill. Cracked heels, long yellow or dirty toe nails.....*barf*. More than once I've had to change tables or seats in a restaurant so I wouldn't be able to see a person's sad excuse for foot care. I'm not talking professional pedicure, just basic foot care.

Oh crap. Feel a little sick just thinking about it.

I don't know that I'd say I find them a big turn on but I do find some male feet attractive. Bare chested and barefoot in blue jeans has always looked sexy to me.

I like a foot that is on the wide side (narrow strikes me as feminine somehow), has a nicely formed arch and some hair on top.

Note - some hair. A few sprigs on the toes and some on the arches following down from the leg hair. Twice I've seen foot hair that forced a double take, one with complete foot coverage of what looked like pubes and another who had a dense black glossy pelt on his arches. Gorilla feet and toupees are just too much hair.

I have a photo of an ex sunning himself on my balcony with his feet propped up that still brings a smile to my face. He had wide muscular feet that tanned very dark in the summer while the soles remained pink. I quite adored his bear paws. They were why I called him Bear.

While flat, narrow or hairless feet aren't my preference they won't turn me off. Even feet where the big toes curl upwards remind me of Mad Magazine and are cute in their way. What does give me the girly soft-on is when the second or middle toe sticks further forward than the big toe. My advice to men who have this is keep your socks on for sex and skip the reverse cowgirl.

Interesting response so far. Thanks folks. I know what you're saying LaFemme, about unkempt feet making you ill: I totally agree, and I so hate what stilettos do to women's feet, creating claw like, squashed toes, bunions, corns, and great thick swollen balls underneath where there should be a soft sexxy latitudinal arch. I think high heels can look sexy in pictures but worn frequently they ruin feet. I much prefer a woman in flip-flops.

Interesting to hear your views on men's feet Gillette. I assume by girly soft-on you mean big turn-off? But short big toe on a woman's foot has the opposite effect on me. I like it.

Sure, cute little feet with short big toes with the others more or less even. I can see that.

What I was trying to describe is when one of the other toes reaches way past it like E.T.'s finger.

Hmm, apparently I have Egyptian toes though not so steep an angle as pictured.

And yes, you understood the soft on perfectly.

That's interesting Gillette. I hadn't seen that illustration before. I guess I basically like to see healthy feet that haven't been damaged by shoes or an overweight owner, but the shape does make a difference. I'm most attracted to the 'Roman' foot shape, although my own feet are somewhere between 'Egyptian' and 'Roman'.

Very cool illustration! I'm every so slightly Greek-footed. Barely noticeable. And since I eschew the high heel, my foot shape is unaffected! Thankfully, it's one less thing for me to worry about.

I love feet as well. It's not exactly a NECESSITY, but I always check out a woman's feet and like someone mentioned above, unkept feet are a huge turn off.

But yes, I love playing with a woman's feet.

For lot of men, feet turn them on

But for girls is generaly hands, I read over the net that many girls find hands sexy, then I asked to some girls I know, and the majority answered me yes
